Uttorone has started a new tailoring class in the village of Kendradangal, Shantiniketan, offering free training in various tailoring skills to the women of the village.
The initiative aims to support their livelihoods and promote empowerment.
Another encouraging aspect of this initiative is that the teacher of the new tailoring class is a former student of our tailoring class at Antaranga School, Shantiniketan.
It is truly heartening to see one of our former students return as a teacher and contribute to the empowerment of women in her own community.
